At Coronado Library we are gearing up for the summer and have some amazing activities coming up soon!
Kids’ Author Visit Karolyn Smith
Coronado Library will be hosting a very special children’s author visit on Tuesday, June 13th at 3pm in the Ruby Room. “Sophia the Bionic Cat,” written by Karolyn Smith, is an inspirational true story about how the author, a wounded Veteran, adopted Sophia, an amputee kitten, and together they were able to overcome their difficulties and find happiness. Kids will also get to meet Sophia the special cat who inspired the story!
Kick-off Campfire
Get ready for the annual Kick-off Campfire on Tuesday, June 20th at 7pm at Library Park to celebrate the start of the Summer Reading Program at the Library. Join us in the park for a performance by John Abrams Animal Magician. Afterwards, we will enjoy a marshmallow roast!
Then that Thursday, June 22nd at 3pm on the Children’s patio kids’ can make their very own mini monster best friend! So don’t miss out on all the fun summer happenings at the library!
