UPDATE June 20, 2016 – The City of Coronado announced that the Glorietta Bay Boat Launch Ramp will be closed beginning tonight while the city makes repairs to portions damaged in the fire. There will be no boat launching or docking during the repairs. They hope to reopen by June 27.
June 18, 2016 – This morning after 9am, a small boat erupted into flames near at the Glorietta Bay launching ramp. There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation according to the Coronado Fire Department.
