Soup’s On at Bluewater Grill for National Clam Chowder Day on Feb. 25

All seven Bluewaters offer dine-in and takeout specials on housemade New England and Manhattan chowders

bluewater chowderNEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (Feb. 17, 2016) – If National Clam Chowder Day on Feb. 25 had a home in the West, it would have to be Bluewater Grill.

After all, chefs at the seven Bluewater Grill sustainable restaurants in Southern California and Phoenix have been making their signature New England and Manhattan clam chowders from scratch everyday for 20 years. And the restaurant’s many “Best of” awards are equally divided between its chowders and sustainable seafood and shellfish dishes.

So it’s only fitting that Bluewater celebrates National Clam Chowder Day with dine-in and takeout chowder offers good on Feb 25 only. Customers can enjoy a free cup of housemade New England or Manhattan chowder (a $5.50 value) with the purchase of a lunch or dinner entrée at the regular price.

Those wanting to take home a quart of the famous soups can take advantage of a special $7.95 takeout price that includes the restaurant’s famous sourdough bread and butter. That’s a $5 savings off the regular $12.95 price.

The two offers are valid Feb. 25 only at all seven Bluewater Grill, Bluewater Avalon and Bluewater Boathouse Seafood Grill locations.

About the Bluewater Family of Seafood Restaurants

Bluewater Grill serves the freshest sustainably caught or farm-harvested seafood, innovatively prepared, in an atmosphere of casual style and at a surprisingly affordable price.

In addition to the original location in Newport’s Cannery Village, there are Bluewater Grills at King Harbor in Redondo Beach, at The District at Tustin Legacy in central Orange County, and in the Camelback neighborhood of central Phoenix.

Beyond the original four restaurants, Bluewater Avalon and Bluewater Boathouse Seafood Grill serve locally caught seafood from two of Southern California’s most picturesque locations: over the water on Avalon Bay on Santa Catalina Island, and in the former Hotel del Coronado boathouse on Coronado Island in San Diego, respectively.

Most recently, Bluewater founders debuted the seventh Bluewater restaurant – and first in Southern California’s Inland Empire – in 2015 in Temecula Wine County. For details, go to www.bluewatergrill.com or visit us on Twitter or Instagram. Each Bluewater restaurant also has its own Facebook page for restaurant-specific menu offers, recipes, events and local happenings.
