Another Accident on 4th – Something Must be Done

Dear City Council Members,

Enough. There was another serious accident last night at Fourth and A Ave. Residents have been up all night praying, comforting, sitting with the family. A tragedy that is wholly preventable. This is enough.

The thousands who travel this Island – and this a RESIDENT of that corner crossing the street with trash bins – cannot be held hostage by a vocal few. The City Council must not bend with the blustery wind. Something must be done – and done now. Put it on the agenda for the next meeting and approve the professional recommendations that were made for the traffic on Third and Fourth. Lives literally hang in the balance this very morning because of your decisions, or lack thereof.

Thank you,
Dana S. Chisholm
400 Block E Ave.
