Coronado Woman Asks Community For Help

WILL CORONADO WOMAN BECOME NEXT FACE OF REEBOK?

By Voting, You Can Help Her Achieve Her Goal of Helping Foster Children Around the World

A young Coronado local, Ashley Hope Linder, has the opportunity of a lifetime and needs the support of her community in order to make it a reality. Reebok has selected her to be one of 12 fitness professional nominated for consideration as the next Face of Reebok – an internationally known sporting goods company.

She is the only San Diego resident to be nominated. Her success will rely upon votes from the community to make it to the next level and appear before a celebrity panel of judges in Boston, MA.

Linder, who as a result of her own past, current convictions and self-belief, has stepped beyond all boundaries. She has, through hard work and a personal past filled with tragedy and challenge, catapulted her process of building character, belief, and self-conviction into a recognized force benefiting one of the most marginalized populations in the world – foster children.

The determined young woman has dedicated every fast and slow twitch muscle in her body to the well-being of these very capable and motivated children. Linder hopes this victory is a contagious one that is bestowed by the many individuals who join her in taking part in LinderKids – people from throughout Coronado willing to take a moment to vote.

Linder and her group are far more than mentors, motivators, and friends to the foster children they engage through her Coronado-based non-profit organization. They aim to postiviely impact the lives of foster youth through fitness and community.

“It is through strength and self belief that the foundation of success is built,” said the determined young Linder. “Overcoming doubt, most notably when one is surrounded by chaos, is the seed by which success is grown.”

She preaches knowing that the limits that life presents are not the limits by which you are bound is the key to forward momentum. Through Linder’s non-profit, these children have the opportunity to overcome their own situations and use strength as a mechanism for growth.

Her work and results have become so well known that ReebokOne has accepted her in their “Face of ReebokOne” competition.

It is her hope that through national support and community encouragement that this program, and those who dedicate their time to her mission to help spread the word and opportunity, will expand to greater horizons, benefiting thousands more foster children.

Linder has pledged to donate all monetary and merchandise prizes (over $4,000 in value) to buy new athletic shoes and clothes for local children in foster care.
