In order to protect tennis players and people in the surrounding area, the City of Coronado has begun constructing barrier netting near the 15th tee/fairway on the Coronado Municipal Golf Course. The posted notice sign explains that it should be completed by early April 2015, but it appears to be a few weeks behind schedule.
This has been a heated issue between Glorietta Blvd residents across the street and both the tennis and golf community.
