100 block of D Avenue Closed due to Fire and Police Activity

The Coronado Fire and Police Departments have responded to an incident in the 100 block of D Avenue. Currently the road is closed, and will remain closed until further notice.

UPDATE: The Coronado Fire Department responded to a small structure fire on Thursday evening, September 18, at an apartment complex located at 143 D Avenue. The source of the fire was determined to be a plastic pan that ignited inside an oven, ultimately catching fire and producing heavy smoke. There was water damage to several units in the apartment complex; however, no residents have been displaced. (Source: City of Coronado)
