I am excited to say that we have so many boys trying out for tennis this year that we will be able to split the Coronado High School Tennis Team into a Varsity and JV squad. A JV coach is needed and should be familiar with tennis and love teenagers. This is a paid position.
There is no need to hold practice or schedule matches, simply motivate and bring out the best in high school boys during their tennis matches. This will be an 18-match season of which roughly half are away matches and the other half are home.
The matches are on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday only, and start times vary with away matches starting at 2:00 p.m. and home matches at 3:00 p.m. The end time will vary depending on how long matches last, but typically they finish around 6:00 p.m.
The 2014 season runs from February 24 through April 30. Please submit a resume, and the qualified candidates will interview with David Brummitt (Varsity Coach). Payment will be negotiated pending qualifications and duties.
