According to California Governor & U.S. Department of Agriculture, Coronado is in an official state of drought emergency and a natural disaster area due to drought. We must all do our part to conserve water now (and always).
It’s easy to live in a carefree bubble in Coronado and take for granted the water that flows out of our taps and showers every day.
But California Governor Jerry Brown declared a State of Emergency because of the current, longstanding drought in which we find ourselves.
And the U.S. Department of Agriculture declared all of San Diego County in a federal Natural State of Disaster due to the drought, along with selected counties in Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Kansas, Texas, Utah, Arkansas, Hawaii, Idaho, Oklahoma . . .
