Where am I?
That is what the beautiful Tuxedo cat Sophia thought as she hid in the bushes near the condos at the end of First Street. The tenants of the complex figured out after a few days that Sophia was obviously lost or abandoned and they gathered her up and took her to the Coronado Animal Care Facility to make sure she was taken care of.
It turns out that Sophia is a delightful cat sweet natured, gentle and loving.
She may not seek you out initially, but when you go up to her, she is super affectionate and loves interacting with people. She is still getting used to life in a cat community room and hasn’t made fast friends with anyone yet, but she also doesn’t mind the other cats. If you are interested in adopting Sophia, you must first complete a Cat Adoption Application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Cat Adoption Counselor. Cat Adoption Counselors are on call every day the ACF is open from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
