CHS Girls’ Tennis Having Banner Season – Make CIF Finals

Under the lights with a slight Santa Ana breeze blowing, the CHS Varsity girls tennis team edged OLP in a hard-fought 10-8 victory. My senior co-captains, Abigail Andreasen and Brooke Gensler led the team with a #1 doubles sweep of their three opponent’s teams while senior Sayaka Tsugai only dropped three games in winning her three singles sets. Total team effort…the best the girls have played all year (won 9 of the last 10 matches!) Showtime is at Barnes Tennis Center at 2:00 p.m. this afternoon. I couldn’t be prouder!
