CORONADO, Calif. (Oct. 04, 2012) SAN DIEGO Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet, Admiral Cecil E. Haney and Vice Adm. David H. Buss arrive at a change of command ceremony aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) during which Buss relieved Vice Adm. Allen G. Myers as Commander, Naval Air Forces. Buss is now Naval Aviation’s 6th “Air Boss.” Naval Air Forces’ mission is to man, train, equip and maintain a Naval Air Force that is immediately employable, forward deployed and engaged.
