Overwhelming Response to Coronado SAFE’s “Kids in the Kitchen” Leads to Increase in Venue Size–Registrations Still Being Accepted!

Due to the overwhelming response and interest in the “Kids in the Kitchen” experience, Coronado SAFE and Melissa d’Arabian have committed to doubling the size of the venue to allow more children and families to participate in this extraordinary event. Registrations for “Kids in the Kitchen” are still being accepted!

The deadline for “Kids in the Kitchen” registration is noon on Friday, Feb. 24. All applications and payment must be submitted by this time.

Registration forms are available:

  1. Outside the Coronado SAFE office, located at 1009 C Avenue
  2. By e-mailing [email protected]
  3. By downloading the registration form from www.CoronadoSAFE.org

The only way to return your completed form and payment is to hand-deliver it to the Coronado SAFE office.

“Kids in the Kitchen” is a fun and educational afternoon cooking and dinner experience for elementary school children and their families, led by Coronado Mom and Food Network Host Melissa d’Arabian.

The event will take place Thursday, March 8, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Coronado Community Center’s Nautilus Banquet Room. Parents will drop off their children at 3:00 p.m. and return at 5:30 p.m. for a family-friendly dinner sponsored by Melissa d’Arabian.

The registration fee for participants (elementary-aged children only) is $35 and includes dinner. For all other dinner-only guests, the registration fee is $15 per person.
