So Cal Food Tours has been doing food tours in Coronado since October and we are gearing up for the new year! We are looking for people that would like to do the 3 hour walking tour. This position is responsible for all aspects of an educational walking food tour. The Tour Host will deliver educational information on nutrition, culinary nuances as well as history to a group of people as they walk the streets of Coronado.
The tour consists of taking a group of people into various food establishments for a period of time to experience the food and learn about the cuisine. The Tour Host gets to maintain communication with each establishment, reinforcing the partnership and keeping them up-to-date on tour visits. We are looking for people that can work the 3 hour tour for Friday/Saturdays 11am-2pm.
Qualities and skills of a So Cal Food Tour Host:
-Excellent customer service
-ENJOYS talking with people, a great communicator, excellent verbal and nonverbal communication
-Able to speak clearly and confidently in front of a large group of people.
