Artists ranging from 3 years to 56 years old competed in the first Black and White Art Show in Imperial Beach, CA. Top honors went to 16 year old Vanessa Schnurer for her painting of a baby’s portrait. Competing with all artists at the show, this incredibly talented young artist won, “Best of Show.” honors for her art work. The art show took place at the West Coast Cafe in Imperial Beach. It was well represented by local artists of all ages throughout the southbay area.
Vanessa, a junior at Coronado High School, has been painting for almost seven years. She is one of the top young artists throughout the Southwest United States.
