Investigators Want Hospital Video In Mansion Death Case

SAN DIEGO — An online report indicates local investigators want to look at surveillance video at Rady Children’s Hospital in relation to the death of a woman at a Coronado mansion.

Radar online is reporting that investigators want to see surveillance video from Rady Children’s hospital where Jonah Shacknai’s son Max was being treated after a fall at the Spreckels mansion. Max later died.

Shacknai has told investigators he was at the hospital when the body of Rebecca Zahau, his girlfriend, was found in Coronado. The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department will not confirm they will be looking at the surveillance video.

Meanwhile, 10News is learning more about Shacknai’s dealings with city of Coronado concerning the 103-year-old house he bought in 2007.
