Coronado local Davis Patchell is one of the most viewed video entries in a contest to cover the royal wedding in London between Prince Williams and Kate Middleton. Will she be chosen as a CNN iReporter and get a free trip across the pond?

My connections to England run deep. My grandfather was awarded the “Order of the British Empire” medal from Her Majesty, the Queen. My ancestry connects me to the Plantagenet Royal Family (through the illegitimate son, Hamelin) as well as the shortest reigning Queen, Lady Jane Grey through her husband’s family, the Dudleys. Beauchamp Tower on the London Green is named after my ancestor, Thomas Beauchamp, who was a prisoner there. The list goes on!!! I would like to return to my MOTHERLAND and be a part of Royal British History! Not to mention, I live in “the Crown City” Coronado, California.
