Coronado, Ca. (Monday, March 28th) Mayor Casey Tanaka hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony at Coronado Taste of Oils on Friday, March 25th. Local Coronado residents, owners Roberta Korte-Schwartz and Martin Schwartz, accompanied the Mayor, along with neighboring business owners, friends, family and eager customers!
Coronado Taste of Oils offers the freshest olive oils and fine aged vinegars from around the world including, Tunisia, Australia, Italy, Chile, and locally from California. Owner Roberta Schwartz believes that olive oils and vinegars have a positive impact on healthy lifestyles. Thus, their store is dedicated to providing customers with an abundance of these products at reasonable prices.
The inspiration of opening the new business came from a trip across the country to visit their daughter in Bethlehem Pennsylvania. Martin Schwartz saw the abundance of customers walking in and out of the similar-concept store, Seasons Olive Oil & Vinegar Tap Room, with bags full of olive oils and vinegars! He and his wife were so influenced by the popularity and success of Seasons that they decided to open up their own shop in Coronado, Ca!
“I’m excited to open up a new business in such a vibrant community. Everyone in the city has been so supportive. My family and I are confident that Coronado Taste of Oils will be very successful!” Roberta Korte-Schwartz, owner of Coronado Taste of Oils.
