How are you celebrating Valentine’s Day next year? It’s never too early to plan and now there is a new event in Coronado. The Coronado Valentine’s Day 10K will be held on Sunday, February 13th, 2011 starting and finishing at Tidelands Park. This flat and fast 6.2 mile course is perfect for everyone, whether you are a competitive runner looking to set a new Personal Record for the 10K distance, the weekend warrior looking for a challenge, or a couple who wants to do something fun and healthy together to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year.
All runners receive a technical t-shirt and volunteers receive a long sleeve t-shirt. The awards for overall, age group, and couples are unique and very “Islander”. Pictures of the awards will be on the website soon! The post race awards and raffle will be held on the outside patio at McP’s Irish Pub and Grill after the race so plan on joining us after the race as well.
