Coronado Residents To Voice Concerns On Traffic

CORONADO, Calif. — Coronado residents will get a chance this week to voice their concerns about traffic after the controversial tunnel project was rejected during the June primary.

This past Labor Day weekend the city of Coronado has seen crowds, traffic and signs that announced the first town hall meeting on traffic since Proposition H, the proposed tunnel from the bridge to the naval base, was voted down.

“Everything is basically on the table except for the tunnel,” said Coronado City Manager Blair King. “The tunnel is an issue that’s been dealt with [and] it’s behind us. We just want to hear from the public about what are the priorities and what should be done next.”
