From the Union Tribune:
In Coronado, voters handily rejected Proposition H, an advisory measure that would continue studies of traffic relief options, including a tunnel from the San Diego-Coronado Bridge to the San Diego Naval Base.
Over 10 years, the city has spent $13.5 million studying ways to ease traffic congestion.
Opponents said a tunnel would not solve the traffic woes and would be a costly project that residents would end up paying for. Proponents wanted Coronado to continue studying solutions to congestion.
