eCoronado.com has been notified that Petco (925 Orange Avenue) is closing it’s doors on June 27th, 2009. Petco employees shared that the store’s lease was unable to be renewed with the owner of the building and that all inventory must be sold. Many years ago, prior to Petco taking that space, it used to be a bank – you can still see the old vault now stocked fish and aquarium tanks. Prior to Petco opening in this location, there were talks of Trader Joe’s opening in that space. There is no information on who the new tenant will be, but we invite you to comment on what you’d like to see open in this location. Be sure to stop into Petco and stock up on your pet needs prior to June 27th and stayed tuned to find out who will be the next tenant at 925 Orange Avenue.
