FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE NOISE ADVISORY: Naval Air Station North Island, California Residents in the immediate vicinity of Naval Air Station North Island may experience a temporary increase in noise from May 22 through June 7. During the two-week period, Joint service detachments will be deployed to the air station in support of an annual readiness exercise. The Navy recognizes the importance of being good neighbors with local communities and makes every effort to abate noise when possible. All noise abatement complaints may be directed to 619-545-8233.
