SoCAL GIRLS: No. 12 Coronado Edges Cathedral Catholic, 7-6

Three players scored a co-team-high two goals to lead No. 12 Coronado to a 7-6 victory over Cathedral Catholic in a CIF-San Diego Section game Friday afternoon. Senior middie Melissa Humphrey, sophomore middie Alex Reidy and senior attack Jillian Reidy all scored twice, as the Islanders (10-3) won their third straight. Junior attack Coco O’Brien had a goal to round out the scoring the Coronado. Defensively, senior goalie Taylor Udell saved six shots. Read the entire WSL article here.
