The John D. Spreckels Center in Coronado presents “The Electoral College: Boon or Bane?” in partnership with UC San Diego’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. The Osher Institute at UCSD (olli.ucsd.edu) offers stimulating daily lectures and classes taught by distinguished university faculty and scholars on a variety of topics for older adults who thirst for knowledge.
On Wednesday, October 11 at 10:30 a.m., the Center will be streaming the Osher lecture on “The Electoral College: Boon or Bane?” featuring University of California San Diego Lecturer, James Ingram. This lecture will examine the origins, development, and consequences of our Electoral College system. A moderated discussion will follow.
