Recreation Department Hip Hop Dance Teams
The Coronado Community Center is hosting auditions for their H2A Dance Teams after school on Thursday, August 25th. These hip hop co-ed dance teams have grown more and more popular each year so they have expanded to include more excited, motivated dancers ages five to fifteen! The H2A (aka Heart to Art) Dance Instructors encourage experienced male and female dancers to try out for these competitive teams. New this fall are the three team levels which include the New Mini Dance Team – open to five to eight year olds, the H2A Junior Dance Team – open to 9-11 year olds and the H2A Dance Team – open to 11-15 year old dancers. All three dance teams will perform at local and regional events and compete in championship contests. Practices start September 1st with the Mini Dance Team on Mondays at 4:15pm; the Junior Dance Team on Wednesdays at 3:30pm; and the Dance Team on Thursdays at 3:30pm . (Note that dancers must audition to be on a team!)
