Police Blotter: August 20- September 5 Two Burglaries with Over $10,000 in Stolen Items

Traffic Collision

Traffic Collision involving bicyclist
10th and C Ave
Driver of vehicle was under the influence when collided with cyclist while proceeding down 10th Street crossing C Ave.

Fourth Ave
Driver who was proceeding down Fourth Street was broadsided by vehicle turning left onto B Avenue
Neither of two drivers had been drinking when collision occurred

Stolen Bicycle

1500 block of Orange Ave
locked bicycle was attached to bike rack
Total value of item(s) stolen: $600

10th Street
Victim observed suspect described as 20-25-year-old-male with black hair in brown t-shirt and brown shorts leave her driveway on victim’s bicycle. Victim chased the suspect but lost sight of him in the area of Tenth Street and G Ave.

700 block of Orange Ave
suspect cut lock off victim’s storage shed and removed several power tools and a bucket containing hand tools

1500 Block of Orange Ave
two bags stolen from trunk area of victim’s vehicle including items such as: shoes, clothing, and a basketball uniform

Suspect entered locked home and stole items including: Television, DVD player, radio, computer, silverware, two bicycles, silver vase, picture frames, and knickknack items
