Coronado SAFE presents: Bridging the Gap between Parents and Teens
This family-friendly evening of seminars features parenting expert Fred Becker and will be offered free of charge for parents and children. The 3-part series starts February 16th, February 23rd, and March 1, and all seminars will be held from 7-8:30 PM at Village Hall, Village Elementary School 600 Sixth Street.
Bring the whole family for parenting expert Fred Becker’s 3-part seminar series that will help parents and teens better communicate with each other. In this one-of-a-kind series, teens (7th grade-12th grade) are invited to participate in small group discussions to help parents re-learn the art of effective communication. Participation in this series will teach you ways to re-connect to your kids during the often-trying adolescent years.
This year, parenting expert Fred Becker introduces the often-overlooked and underused principles that parents can employ to encourage the development of strong, self-reliant, responsible children. Join the discussions and get some helpful tips on how to communicate with your pre-teen and teen during the difficult teenage years.
