Back by popular demand is the annual free “Kids Thanksgiving Movie”, on Thursday, November 28th at 10am. The Optimist Club of Coronado, whose motto is “Friend of Youth”, has adopted this old time Coronado tradition once sponsored by the Active 20-30 Club of Coronado.
Former Active 20-30 Club Member and current Optimist Club member Mike Napolitano still remembers those good old days. “My Dad, Big Mike Napolitano then a member of 20-30, used to rally the kids here in town and get them out of the kitchen so our moms could get our turkey and dressing ready to go.”
Once again, the Optimist Club of Coronado is glad to continue this Coronado tradition through our friend and owner of Village Theatres, Lance Alspaugh.
The movie is going to be “Frozen”, rated PG. Thanksgiving ‘chefs’ should get those kids out of the house and send them down to our Village Theatre! Doors open at 9:30am with free showing at 10am. Adults are welcome with their kids 12 and under.
