Each event will last about 70 minutes and include introductions, a short Oscar-winning film on the first 100 years of motion pictures, and other brief tributes and promotions. Guests will have an opportunity to walk through all three screening rooms. A complimentary popcorn and drink is included.
Beginning at one-minute past midnight Friday, June 24, the Village Theatre will begin running regular screenings of their first film, “Cars 2,” at regular prices.
General Admission tickets are $10.50, children under 12 and seniors 62 and over are $7.50 with Bargain Shows before 6 p.m. $8.50. Special 3D showings are an additional $2 per ticket. Vintage Cinemas Gift Books will be available at the box office.

The Terrazzo has been restored, the carpet is down, the murals are up, lighting and sound are being
fine-tuned and the Village Theatre has officially been reborn. This Art Deco palace is a tribute
not just to designer Joseph Musil, but to Vintage Cinemas, who never gave up hope that
Coronado’s Post World War II theatre would once again open its doors to an eager community.
