Shark Sighting Offshore Coronado Beach on Sunday

The Coronado Police Department shared this image midday Sunday, April 25 with their Facebook post about the shark sighting.

On Sunday, April 25, Coronado Lifeguards reported that at 8:30 am Sunday morning, a long distance swimmer was circled by an 8-to-10-foot white shark 250 yards offshore of 1000 block of Ocean Boulevard. This put the beach in response level 2 and yellow advisory signs were posted a half mile north and a half mile south of the occurrence.
