Golf: Coronado Girls Lose to Scripps Ranch

On Wednesday, October 9, Coronado squared off against Scripps Ranch in Scripps territory. The Lady Islanders have faced off against Scripps Ranch three times this season. The team had positive attitudes about how they would perform. This wouldn’t be enough as the Islanders failed to come within reaching distance to the Scripps Ranch Falcons. “Not a good week,” as Coach Gordon described it. The Lady Islanders are still a long way clear in 2nd place in Division II. Although the Lady Islanders may have some practice to do, Coach Gordon is pleased that the team differential dropped by a shot. Final score was Coronado 211, Scripps Ranch 189. The girls’ scores were:
