Cops and Robbers: Vehicle and Garage Break Ins Result in Theft (1/10/19-1/17/19)

Thanks to the Coronado Police Department for providing The Coronado Times with the below information (partial list):

Crimes:

1/16/19-1/17/19: Malicious Mischief/Vandalism (Misdemeanor) near 1200 block of Churchill Place

Unknown suspect vandalized a section of sidewalk owned by the City of Coronado with purple marker.

1/13/19-1/14/19: Petty Theft near 700 block of B Avenue

Unknown subject entered victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole his GPS tracker. When victim returned to his vehicle, he noticed that the inside had been ransacked. The estimated loss is $100.

1/13/19: Petty Theft near 1800 block of Avenida Del Mundo

Unknown suspect stole the victim’s bicycle from the bicycle rack at the location. The monetary loss is estimated at $479.

1/11/19-1/12/19: Burglary near 700 block of Orange Avenue

Victim went into his garage at the location and noticed something was wrong because the side garage door was slightly ajar. Upon entering the garage, he noticed both sides of his garage were ransacked and items were missing. Victim discovered that his Makita drill, Makita radio, and Columbia jackets were missing. The approximate monetary loss is $519.

1/10/19: Petty Theft near 500 block of F Avenue

Three unidentified white males stole a fire extinguisher from the location. The total monetary loss is $35.

1/15/19: Parole Violation of Felony Charge – Felony near 100 block of Tunapuna Lane

39 year old male

1/13/19: Taking Vehicle Without Owner’s Consent – Felony near 400 block of E Avenue

27 year old male

1/12/19: Possession of Controlled Substance – Misdemeanor near 100 block of Ocean Drive

25 year old male

1/12/19: Carrying a Concealed Dirk or Dagger – Felony near 1300 block of Orange Avenue

19 year old male

1/10/19: Outside Warrant on Misdemeanor Charge – Misdemeanor near 1200 block of First Street
