Paid political endorsement letter from Dave Landon
I am writing to enthusiastically support Peggy Duncan for the Coronado School Board.
I recently had the opportunity to hear Peggy explain her background, experience, and goals for our schools, along with her positions on a wide range of issues. I came away deeply impressed by her knowledge, thoughtfulness, and common sense. Her presentation strengthened my confidence that she would be an exceptional addition to the Coronado Unified School District Board.
School board service requires sound judgment, an understanding of the issues, and a commitment to doing what is best for students and our schools. In listening to Peggy, I heard someone who brings those qualities to the table and has given serious thought to the responsibilities she hopes to undertake.
What particularly impressed me was the clarity with which she explained her views and connected her experience to her goals. She gave me compelling reasons to support her, and I believe her perspective and judgment would serve our community well.
Our schools deserve capable, thoughtful leadership. Peggy Duncan would be a tremendous asset to CUSD, and I encourage my fellow Coronado voters to join me in supporting her.
