Golf: CHS Boys Take Third Win of the Season

Earlier this week, Coronado’s Boys’ Golf team hosted St. Augustine High School to play them for the second time this season. Unfortunately, Saints pulled through another win against Coronado, 228-205. Team captain Mateo Valles led the team with 38 strokes, followed by senior Blanchard Seniff (40) and junior Yash Patel (45).

Next, the team went to Balboa Golf Course to play University City High School. It turned out to be Coronado’s third win of the season, every player was on top of their game. Sophomore Gino Frederick shot the fewest strokes that day, with a score of 42. Valles and Seniff each shot 43, with Patel not far behind who shot 44. The final score was 217-260.

This coming week, each player will enter in the Individual League Tournament at the end of the season.
