Easter at The Coronado Community Center

Mark your calendar for Saturday, March 31st, the day that the Easter Bunny will “make his annual appearance” in Coronado for the year 2018. In honor of his special day, The Recreation Department has a full day of festivities planned for you at the Coronado Community Center!

The day begins with Breakfast with the Easter Bunny. This intimate event starts at 9:00am with hot pancakes, steaming sausages, fruit, juice and coffee. The Easter Bunny will make a special appearance so that moms and dads can take the perfect Easter Photo with the bunny. The breakfast event includes holiday crafts, a prize wheel to spin and a personalized, intimate Easter egg hunt. Advanced tickets are required to attend Breakfast with the Easter Bunny so if you are interested, contact the Coronado Community Center today since these tickets are limited and go fast.

Easter fun continues in the afternoon of March 31st with the Annual Easter Egg-stravaganza at the community center. The highlight of the egg-stravaganza is the on-going Easter Egg hunts held from 1:00-3:30pm. There are even individual egg hunt areas just for toddlers and one just for preschoolers. Bring a basket from home for the collected eggs. In addition to the egg hunts, everyone can stroll down Peppermint Lane while winning prizes along the way as they walk through the Life-sized Candy Land Game.

At the egg-stravaganza there will be plenty of photo moments with the Easter Bunny so be sure to bring your camera. There are opportunities to jump in a jumpee and win prizes at our Easter Carnival Games. The egg hunts are FREE, with tickets available to purchase for the other eggstravaganza activities.

Put Some Play in Your Day and come to The Coronado Community Center on Saturday, March 31st. If you have further questions or you want to purchase advance tickets for the Breakfast with the Easter Bunny call the Recreation Department at (619) 522-7342.
