Local Mother-Daughter Duo Teaming Up to Co-Chair Chamber’s Military Ball

The Coronado Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce that Cindy Anderson and her daughter Alexis Reitmeyer are partnering up to co-chair the 32nd Annual Salute to the Military Ball, set for Saturday, March 11, 2017 at the Hotel del Coronado. Both Anderson and Reitmeyer are active participants in the local community and co-owners of Coronado Bliss Salon, which opened in 2010. Anderson served six years on the Coronado Chamber Board of Directors, ending last year, and her daughter was asked to join the Board for the 2016-2018 term.

“Our family has strong military roots. We are humbled to be able to give back by serving on this committee to honor and bless our heroes,” said Reitmeyer.

Since 1985, the Coronado Chamber of Commerce has hosted their Salute to the Military Ball, a black tie affair giving citizens and businesses an opportunity to show their support of local military families. Two hundred active duty members and their dates attend for free, courtesy of the financial support of our sponsors.

“We live and work in an amazing community, filled with people that genuinely care about one another and our future,” said Anderson. “Coronado, indeed our world, would not be what it is today if not for the sacrifices of so many.”

The success of the event depends on strong sponsorship funding. Table sponsors range from $5,500 to $1,760. In addition to an amazing four-course dinner by the Hotel Del, wine service and entertainment for six guests, all table sponsorships enable two military couples to attend this special evening as complimentary guests. The best seats in the house Gold Premiere tables at $5,500, followed by Silver tables at $3,500, Bronze 10-Top tables at $2,200 and Bronze 8-Top tables at $1,760. If you cannot commit to a full table, you may sign up as a Table Captain and meet other community members to share and co-sponsor your table.

Thank you to the early sponsors who have already committed to this year’s event: Boeing, CalAm Water, Coronado Bliss Salon, Coronado Hardware Glass & Paint, Crestmont Property Management, EDCO, Hotel del Coronado, Jenkins Family, Kennedy Family, Loews Coronado Bay Resort, USS Midway Museum, Navy SEAL-NSW Family Foundation, North Island Credit Union, Phillip Carter Winery, R-3 Strategic Support Group, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Salof Family, San Diego Lincoln Military Housing, San Diego Padres, San Diego Regional Airport Authority and Woiwode + Wright.
