Free Summer Entertainment

Get yourself and your children to the Coronado Community Center on Wednesdays at noon this summer for free entertainment from magic to music, science and animals, a puppet show and jump rope stars.

Moms, dads, children, grandparents, this article is your ticket to great FREE entertainment, this summer at the Coronado Community Center. Look for Wednesday entertainment at noon at the Coronado Community Center.

On Wednesday June 22nd, Dr. Zoolittle brings his furry friends from the San Diego Zoo for up-close and personal interactions with animals and some magic too.

You will be wowed by the magic show performed by John Abrams on Wednesday, June 29th. John’s combination of comedy, magic, music, audience participation and live exotic pets will astound and amaze all who attend.

Discover how fun science can be when the Rueben H. Fleet Science Show demonstrates chemical reactions, electricity and forces in action on Wednesday, July 6th.

You will get to Walk on the Wild Side on Wednesday, July 20th as Wild Wonders delivers your passport to adventure with an interactive encounter with wild animals from all over the globe.

On Wednesday July 27th, USA Jumpstars will demonstrate what happens when you get some of the best jump ropers in the country together for an action packed show with music and audience participation that gets everyone jumping.

Then, Wednesday, August 3rd, Mad Science comes to Coronado with their Smoke Rings and Hover Crafts in “The Forces of Nature Show.”

Wednesday, August 10th come for an exhilarating performance by the The Boo Hoo Crew with music that moms, dads and kids will all like!

Join a boy and his dragon friend on Wednesday, August 17th as Luce Puppets performs “The Reluctant Dragon” for an afternoon of adventure, twists and turns that everyone will enjoy.

Start these Wednesdays by enjoying the free entertainment at noon. Then head over to the Coronado Pool for recreation swim starting at 12:30pm (admission required).
