Due to heavy demand during Tuesday’s storm, the City’s supply of sandbags was depleted. A reminder that sandbags are for residents only. No contractors or construction sites please. Hand-packed sandbags are being replenished by Public Services crews today and more pre-filled sandbags are due in tomorrow. Please take only what you need now and save some for your neighbors. The City of Coronado provides sandbags as a courtesy to its community. Sandbags are available at First Street and Alameda Boulevard; Fourth Street and Alameda; at North Beach; and now in the Cays across the street from the Cays Fire Station.
