eCoronado.com has learned that, due to police activity in area of Third Street and Alameda Avenue, traffic to and from NAS North Island is being diverted please be aware of traffic tie-ups and diversions in area.
Updated 1 (2:05 p.m.): The Navy has closed the Third Street entrance to NAS North Island.
Update 2 (3:40): The Coronado Police Department is reporting that the police action at 3rd & Alameda is over and the traffic diversions are lifted.
