Coronado Middle School “Spring Faire” Open House Tonight, May 14, 2014

The Coronado Middle School Staff and Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) will host its annual Spring Faire Wednesday, May 14 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. at CMS.

The campus will be open to the community. Student projects and some of the latest technology will be on display in classrooms and in Granzer Hall. There is a little something for everyone and this is the perfect opportunity for rising 6th graders and their parents to visit the school and see the wonderful atmosphere they will enjoy next year as middle school students!

*The CMS band, choir, and performing arts students will provide entertainment throughout the evening.

*KCMS will be performing a live broadcast from 5:30-6:10 p.m. and playing student produced videos from 6:15-7pm. The studio will be open for visits. See what this awesome digital media class produces!

*There will be a Poetry Jam in room 203 at 6:30 p.m. with students performing original poems live!

*Student art will be on display in room 225.

*Dinner will be served by the incredible cafeteria services team. A fine selection of food includes the choice of a regular chicken breast fillet, spicy grilled chicken on a bun or even a veggie sandwich. Each meal will include fresh fruit, salad bar and water. All of this for the low price of $6 for parents and $5 for students. So come hungry and eat as a family in the quad!

*Dessert will be sold separately and served by CMS ASB students, including an assortment of World’s Finest chocolates with all proceeds going right back into CMS students’ programs and scholarships. Please bring cash only.

This event is an opportunity to celebrate our children and the great collaboration between students, staff, parents and the school’s partners in education. It is this team work that creates the wonderful culture of Coronado Middle School. All staff members will be enjoying the festivities as well and will not be holding individual conferences at this time.
