I have called the Port to discuss this problem–the open sided trash cans do not fit the needs of this location. The birds and the wind remove the trash and it ends up in our bay 🙁 They are unwilling to resolve the problem–makes me very sad for this picture shows what I see on my early morning bike rides, and as we know it becomes worse over the summer. (Photo taken in April and yesterday I spent 20 minutes cleaning up just one area at the park)
