I enjoyed joining volunteers from the Coronado Cays and elsewhere at Silver Strand State Beach yesterday.
We worked hard and removed several truckloads of non-native ice plant from the bay side of Silver Strand State Beach.
State Parks Archaeologist Therese Muranaka found a stone tool that was carried from Otay Mountain to the Silver Strand by Native Americans long ago.
