Two adults and their teenage son were able to safely escape when their motor yacht caught fire Thursday night in the marina at Loew’s Coronado Bay resort, prompting a two-alarm response by multiple fire and law-enforcement agencies.
The 57-foot yacht, Ocean Ventures, had been occupied by Harry and Tamra Williams and their 17-year-old son Kristopher, and their bulldog, Lucky. All got off the boat safely. It later sank.
Harry Williams said they have lived on the boat in the upscale marina for six years.
