The Coronado Junior Woman’s Club (CJWC), in partnership with the Coronado Floral Association, invites Coronado youth, preschool ages through 8th grade to participate in the
16th & 17th Coronado Flower Show.
Preparation should start now for the following categories:
(more information to follow regarding the other categories in the youth section)
Junior Gardener (Preschool and Kindergarten) Any plant or plants grown by the exhibitor in any single container from seed, root and/or bulb.
Junior Growing Plants (grades 1-5) Any plant or plants in any single container that has been in the possession of and cared for exclusively by the exhibitor for at least two months prior to the show.
Intermediate Growing Plants (grades 6-8) Any plant or plants in any single container that has been in the possession of and cared for exclusively by the exhibitor for at least two months prior to the show.
This is a fun section to enter and the judges love to see the creativity of the kids and the variety of plants selected.
