At approximately 10:15pm, eCoronado.com started receiving calls and emails that two police helicopters were searching the streets of Coronado with spotlights (video and photos below). There were also reports of police vehicles searching the streets.
The Coronado Police Department informed us that another alleged ‘smuggling boat’ was found at Coronado’s Central Beach and that law enforcement were searching for the boat passengers.
As of 11:30pm, no suspects have been found. Most likely, there was a vehicle waiting to pick them up.
