Coronado’s Time Warner Channel 19 to Broadcast Bridge Documentary on August 1, 2 and 3

To close this year’s 40th anniversary of the San Diego-Coronado Bay Bridge, a recently produced documentary about the history of our bridge and early Coronado will be broadcast on Coronado’s Time Warner Channel 19 on August 1, 2 and 3. The program will be shown once every hour during those three days.

Produced by Village Videography, the documentary was presented to the community last year at the City’s Bridge Anniversary event held at the Coronado Community Center. Producers Patrice and Arturo Sbicca are happy to broadcast the program in Coronado to thank the community for its support in the creation of the documentary, in particular Mayor Tanaka, the Coronado Historical Association and the Hotel Del Coronado’s Heritage Department. The producers are currently searching for underwriters to fund a wider reaching broadcast in order to share this important page of our local history with the entire San Diego region.

The documentary is available for purchase at the Coronado Historical Association Museum Store, Bay Books and online at the producers’ website www.villagevideography.com.
