WHERE START:
YMCA Camp Surf at Seacoast Dr. and Carnation Ave. in Imperial Beach.The start will be at 8:00 am for bicycles and 8:05 am for runners/walkers. FINISH: Sunset Park at the intersection of Ocean Blvd. and Ocean Dr. in Coronado.
THE COURSE
The 8.2 mile course goes north along the ocean beachfront of the Silver Strand. This event is held at low tide on hard packed sand, passing through Naval Amphibious Base beaches and in front of the beautiful Hotel del Coronado about 1 mile before the finish.
BUSES
Runners are encouraged to park near the end of the race at Sunset Park (the intersection of Ocean Blvd. and Ocean Dr.) and take a shuttle bus for people (not bikes) to the start. The shuttles will run from 6:15 to 7:15 am. After the race, shuttles will again run from Sunset Park to the start as needed until 11:00 am. There will be a secure area for temporary bike storage at the end of the race.
T-SHIRTS AND PRIZES
All participants will receive a top quality Low Tide Ride & Stride t-shirt. Prizes will be awarded 3 deep in each category. Each child will be awarded a participant’s ribbon.

REGISTRATION
Use online registration (link below) or print out the entry form and mail it and your payment to: Kathy Loper Events, 7801 Mission Center Ct, Suite 204, San Diego, CA 92108. Early registration fees are only honored for entries postmarked on or before June 3, 2010. Day of event registration cost is $35.00 for Adult Division and $15.00 for Youth Division. Registration tables will be set up at 6:30am on the day of the event at the race start at Camp Surf.
