Senior middie Dax Cohan scored a team-high three goals, including two in the fourth quarter, to lead No. 9 St. Ignatius Prep to a 9-7 victory over No. 8 Coronado in a California Interscholastic Federation game Saturday night on Coronado Island.
Senior middie Rob Emery added a pair of goals to help the Wildcats (4-2) bounce back from Friday night’s loss to No. 3 La Costa Canyon. Junior middie Johno Gibbons, senior middie Nick Alimam, junior attack Jack Bodine and sophomore attackman J.W. McGovern all scored once to round out the offense for St. Ignatius Prep.
