Police blotter (April 19-26) Summaries: -11 arrests (8 are DUIs) -1 bike stolen -4 traffic collisions April 6 -Damage property to violate civil rights. A large rock at CHS spray painted with swastika and racist words. -Burglary at library of 9 DVD’s which were removed from their cases and stolen. April 19 -DUI arrest misdemeanor (300 block Pomona) -DUI arrest misdemeanor (300 block B Ave) -Possession of narcotic substance felony (1000 block Isabella) April 21 -Petty theft in an unlocked car. Suspect took wallet and credit cards which were later used in purchases. (900 block Coronado Ave.) -petty theft of ipod from backpack while at school April 22 -Furnish minor with marijuana arrest (600 block Orange Ave) -Burglary. Male suspect broke out the glass pane of a side door to gain entry. He took 13 valuable items ranging from $60-$2500. April 23 -Resident found explosive in backyard. Sheriff called and removed the practice grenade. (Glorietta Place) April 24 – Minor possession of alcohol in public (800 block First St.) – 3 acts of malicious mischief by spray paint vandalism (Cays) April 25 -DUI alcohol/drugs (Loews hotel parking lot) -DUI misdemeanor arrest (1300 block First St.) -4 minors contacted for violation of curfew (1300 block First St.) -Disorderly conduct due to alcohol arrest (1000 block Ocean Ave.)
